A: You might try Galleria Exotics. It looks like they may have what you need. The price they quote is actually not bad. Just realize they usually have a Rev Limiter on these. If you rev them up too much they have a kill switch that cuts it off, and your have to pay to have it picked up. Other than that, they are loads of fun and for a special ocassion, worth the $500 plus insurance.

I’m looking to get a 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8. I live in Georgia and according to the dodge website there isn’t one on a lot within 300 miles. I called a couple of dealerships and they said they could get me one in a couple of days. Does this sound right? If I put down a deposit, how long until they would actually have it. Also, are they going for MSRP or more?
A: Yeah that is about right. A dealer usually has agreements with other dealers and they pull one off another dealer’s lot or just order one, but a few days sounds normal. The most you should have to wait is two weeks.
As for price, depends on the dealer. They may mark it up a bit from MSRP. Could be a few thousand more than MSRP, but then again you could find a good dealer that won’t. It’s a toss up either way. You can negotiate on the price even before you order it.

A: yes it is cheaper to insure two cars rather than one,my cousin just bought a new charger with the hemi in it,and her insurance is well over 200 a month right now,the told her it would come down as she got older ,she doesn’t have any tickets or anything else,but to me that’s way too much to pay for insurance,but that’s full coverage also,she is also 25 years old,good luck.
Q: Does my Dodge Charger SRT8 HAVE to use 91 octane?
I am getting a SRT8 Charger and I have read that the recommended fuel is the 91 octane. Will it screw up my engine to run 87 or even run 87 with octane booster? My truck has 10.1 compression and runs great on 87. THe SRT Hemi is only 9.8 or there about.
A: not reccomend but required. the car is tuned for it and because of that wont run properly without 91+ octane.
Octane boost doesnt help much unless you put in a few bottles every fill up.

A: Downpayment can be anything you want it to be. Just keep in mind that the lower your downpayment, the higher the COB ( cost of borrowing ) will be as you are paying more in interest charges as well as possibly even a higher interest rate.
Some places ask for a minimum of 5% down, others say no-money-down. I would suggest putting down as much as you can comfortably afford so you pay less interest on the loan.

A: It takes about 17 gallons to fill it up so multiply that by the price per gallon in your area to figure out the cost.
Also an SRT8 uses premium unleaded therefore more money to filll it up.

A: they pay almost what loan value is on them ,people are very misguided on this part of it they think that dealers really do get these car dirt cheap and they don’t,when it goes through the sale the pay real high amounts for them sometimes,usually never less than 80% of the value,especially on a srt8 charger,those cars don’t run through the sale to cheap,usually for a fee of a few hundred bucks they will let you go with them and bid on a car,and buy it,most dealers charge a 300-500 buck fee and ask you not to tell what you actually paid for it,we went Wednesday night and took a few buyers,and all they bought was small cars,the fee is still the same though if you buy a car,good luck.,,PS i found the sale sheet for the night we went,and there was one charger that went through the sale it sold for around 24 thousand counting the sale bill on it and it was 2007 model with very low miles on it,this should give you a general idea of what one will cost you,good luck.
