Q: which one would save me more money, Genesis Coupe or Chevrolet Camero 2010?
Im planning on purchasing one of these when i head out for college. Which one would cost less for gas, insurance, and esetra? plus what do you think the prices for both of these will be by 2012?
Im going to guess the gas mileage for both these cars are about 19-21 mpg, im up for any suggestions that can compete with these cars with hopefully better gas mileage, good reliability, comfortable, and great looking ! Thanks.
A: I drive Hyundai’s cars and like them and do much like the Genesis Coupe, but I also like the new Camero. What you are asking would depend a lot on size engine in the Camero. The Genesis on the road should get about 24/26 MPG, a V8 in the Camero will get less. The V8 in the Camero will make the insurance higher and a lot of that would depend on your age. They would both be a good car so decide on what is best fore you and enjoy the car.

I would recommend the Camaro when comparing it to the Ford Mustang. For the 2010 model year the Camaro 2SS has a V8, 6.2L engine that gets 426 horsepower while the 2010 Ford Mustang 2dr Cpe GT Premium has a V8, 4.6L engine that gets 315 horsepower. The Camaro also has a slightly larger wheelbase and is comparable overall in dimensions to the Mustang. The vehicles also have comparable fuel economy with 16 MPG city and 24 MPG highway. I would also recommend setting up a test drive of the vehicle to get a first-hand idea of what you are looking for.
